The plays of Ramesh Prasad Panigrahi were first included in the University curriculum in 1968.

He was studied first in the graduate courses and later in postgraduate courses in all the universities that teach Odia literature:

1. Berhampur University, Sambalpur University,

2. Utkal University, Bhubaneswar

3. Shantiniketan University, West Bengal,

4. Ravenshaw University, Cuttack

5. Rama Devi (Autonomous) College, Bhubaneswar

6. B.J.B.(Autonomous)College, Bhubaneswar.

His plays are performed in Hindi and Bengali translation at Delhi and in Kalyani, West Bengal.

Canmass, a reputed Theatre Organization from Paradip, Odisha had organized a National Theatre Festival basing on his plays from 18-03-2014 to 24-03-2014.
